Start in the Chemistry Lab
Memory Leak starts with Professor Bonilla in the Science Campus chemistry lab during Chapter 2. Collect Drain Chemicals and Brain Chemicals from their cabinets, put both into the laboratory machine, and assemble the required molecular structure at the computer before speaking with Bonilla.
Read the Element and Hazard Clues
For a gentle nudge, look at the underlined element symbols and use their atomic numbers in the same order for the Drain Chemicals cabinet. The Brain Chemicals cabinet uses the hazard report instead. Work through those clues before moving on to the laboratory machine and computer.
Open the Chemical Cabinets
- Inspect the underlined elements Ar, O, and Fe to identify the sequence used by the Drain Chemicals cabinet.
- Enter 18826 on the Drain Chemicals cabinet to open it; the atomic numbers are 18, 8, and 26 in that order.
- Collect Drain Chemicals from the opened cabinet for use in the laboratory machine.
- Read the hazard report to find the clue for the Brain Chemicals cabinet.
- Set the second cabinet’s combination to 4-0-3 followed by the radiation symbol to open it.
- Collect Brain Chemicals from the second cabinet so you have both chemicals needed by the machine.
Load the Machine and Complete the Structure
- Put Drain Chemicals into the laboratory machine to load that ingredient.
- Put Brain Chemicals into the laboratory machine so both required chemicals are loaded.
- Assemble the required CH5NO3 molecular structure at the computer to advance the assignment.
- Speak with Professor Bonilla after completing the molecular structure to continue the sequence.
If Your Chemicals Are Missing
A Memory Leak bug could delete Brain Chemicals or Drain Chemicals after saving and exiting midway through the quest. A hotfix addressed that problem in v1.0.20261105.001. If either item is missing, check that your game is updated before trying again.
