Start Above the Arts Classroom
Start Accordion to Plan on top of the Arts Classroom building in the upper Arts Campus. The accordion lets you select a note and play it; use the wall sign's melody instructions to choose the order.
Read the Recipe for the Most Annoying Melody
Read the wall sign at the rooftop puzzle for a nudge before using the exact answer below. It describes how to build the most annoying melody from parts of the frightening, beautiful and depressing melodies. Treat its instructions as an ordered recipe, keeping each selected part in the position the sign describes.
- Take the last note of the frightening melody to supply the opening of the requested tune.
- Take the middle two notes of the beautiful melody to supply the next part of the tune.
- Take the first note of the depressing melody to supply the end of the requested tune.
Use a Separate Play Activation for Each Note
Following the melody recipe gives A, F, C, B. The sequence uses four separate accordion activations. Select each note and play it before moving on to the next entry.
Play the Accordion Sequence
- Play A on the accordion to begin the requested sequence.
- Play F as the next separate accordion activation.
- Play C as the next separate accordion activation.
- Play B to finish the sequence and complete the puzzle.
Finish With the Final Play Activation
The final interaction is playing B after A, F and C have each been played separately. Make sure you play B after selecting it, just as you played the earlier notes. When checking your input, keep both the note order and the separate play activations together.
