Find the Chore Assignment Sheet
Find the chore assignment sheet on the dormitory floor of the main tower, then talk to Wyatt and Michael for the rules that determine each assignment. Complete Don't Be a Chore by ticking the chores under the correct roommate’s name on that sheet.
Gather the Roommates’ Clues
Don't Be a Chore is an Extra Credit assignment. The clues come from the roommates’ allergies, preferences and conditional rules, so read their statements together before committing to the sheet.
- Locate the chore assignment sheet on the dormitory floor of the main tower.
- Talk to Wyatt to learn the restrictions and conditions affecting his chores.
- Talk to Michael to collect his preferences and conditional rules.
Use the Conditions Before Checking the Answer
Start with the clearest restriction: Wyatt cannot dust. His dishes assignment depends on Michael cleaning the bathroom, and Michael’s bathroom assignment depends on Wyatt taking out the trash. Those conditions connect the dishes, bathroom and trash assignments.
Write each condition beside the chore it affects, then compare the linked assignments together. This makes it easier to catch a placement that satisfies a preference while breaking another roommate’s condition.
The Correct Chore Assignments
| Chore | Assign To |
|---|---|
| Dusting | Michael |
| Vacuuming | Michael |
| Bathroom cleaning | Michael |
| Laundry | Wyatt |
| Dishes | Wyatt |
| Taking out the trash | Wyatt |
Tick the Solution on the Sheet
- Tick Michael for dusting to respect Wyatt’s restriction.
- Tick Michael for vacuuming as part of the correct arrangement.
- Tick Michael for bathroom cleaning to satisfy Wyatt’s dishes condition.
- Tick Wyatt for laundry as part of the correct arrangement.
- Tick Wyatt for dishes, paired with Michael’s bathroom assignment.
- Tick Wyatt for taking out the trash to satisfy Michael’s bathroom condition and complete the arrangement.
Check the Linked Assignments
For the final check, Michael should have dusting, vacuuming and bathroom cleaning, while Wyatt should have laundry, dishes and trash. Pay particular attention to the bathroom and trash entries: Wyatt’s dishes condition relies on Michael cleaning the bathroom, and Michael’s condition relies on Wyatt taking out the trash.
Compare the chore labels with the roommate names as you review the sheet. Reading each assignment aloud can help you spot a correct chore ticked under the wrong person.
