Start at the Humanities Campus Gazebo
Start A Cryptic Picnic by speaking to the student with the quest icon at the bandstand or gazebo in the Humanities Campus. To open the lunchbox, look for letters shared across the rows and columns of the picnic plates on the ground.
Find the Shared Letters in the Plate Grid
Each plate carries two letters. Compare the plates across the rows and columns, looking for the letters they share. Those shared letters reveal the words needed by the lunchbox.
If you want to solve it yourself, sketch the arrangement before working through the letters. Keep the plate pairs in their original positions so you can compare a row or column without mixing them together. Write down the shared letters as you find them, then try building the lunchbox answers before reading the exact words below.
Open the Lunchbox and Collect the Fruit
- Speak to the student displaying the quest icon at the Humanities Campus bandstand or gazebo to begin A Cryptic Picnic.
- Examine the picnic plates arranged on the ground to identify the letter grid.
- Compare the letters shared across the rows and columns to work out the lunchbox words.
- Enter SNACK and FRUIT on the lunchbox to open it.
- Take the fruit from the opened lunchbox to collect its contents.
