Find every A Riddle Bit Closer box in Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School, learn when the Gardens route opens, and enter the right answer at each stop.

Start With the Riddle Boxes
Begin A Riddle Bit Closer by interacting with the riddle boxes around campus. There are three to solve: the library and entrance-gate boxes can be sought before the Gardens box, which requires access to the Gardens later in the campaign.
When You Can Reach the Gardens Box
The earlier places to check are the Humanities Campus and the entrance gate. Save the Gardens stop for when you can enter that area later in the campaign. If the Gardens are still out of reach, keep the remaining box on your list while you continue the story.
The Campus Gardens gate requires 17 credits. Look toward the edge of the map farthest from the school; you can also approach the gate from the Arts Campus. Once you have access, follow the mountain trail toward the Gardens riddle box.
Find the Boxes Before Reading the Answers
- Behind the library: use the library on the Humanities Campus as your landmark, then check behind it for the riddle box.
- Near the entrance gate: look for the riddle box by the gate, keeping this stop separate from the library box.
- In the Gardens: follow the mountain trail across the log bridge to reach the riddle box.
If you want to solve the riddles yourself, pause here and inspect the box at your current location. Keep a note of your answer attempt alongside that location. Continue below when you want the exact entry for each box.
Enter the Answer at Each Box
- Enter GOAL in the box behind the library to solve the riddle at that stop.
- Enter FLAG in the box near the entrance gate to solve that box's riddle.
- Enter ROAD in the Gardens box beyond the log bridge to solve the remaining riddle.
Check That the Whole Set Is Finished
A Riddle Bit Closer requires you to interact with and solve all three boxes. Use the library, entrance gate and Gardens as your completion checklist. Reaching a box's location is the navigation step; entering its answer is the action that solves it.
You can review side-quest progress in the Extra Credit section at the bottom of the Journal. Compare that progress with your own notes about the boxes you have solved. If this set still needs attention, check your notes against the locations above before retracing your route.
